Having known Mr Basi for a while, Chameli knew how much his late parents meant to him so decided to get a portrait of them made for him which was gifted on the handover of his New Urus Performante.

She did some groundwork first with his son to make sure it would be received well and got the green light from the family.

Chameli employed a local artist to create the picture from 2 photos which had been provided to her . When presented with the portrait Mr Basi was speechless and even shed a couple of tears, it was such a special moment which clearly meant a lot to him.
Later he shared his handover experience on his social media where he has 30k followers. Please see attached for the images and kind words he shared.

Thank you for the portrait of my parents presented when I collected my cars. A true act of class and you have shown me that genuine friendship knows no bounds and that the true generosity and thought springs from the well of a selfless heart. This to me was incomparable to the cars and everything else, simply priceless, thank you.

A male customer approached Graypaul Birmingham and said that he was interested in buying a car for his girlfriend. Francesca phoned them and discussed their wants in a Ferrari and they decided to drive one of our Ferrari Approved Portofinos! The girlfriend and her sister came in to drive the car and absolutely fell in love. The male customer was the main decision maker so he called up Francesca and said that he wanted to purchase the car, but for it to be a SURPRISE! He then told his girlfriend that someone else had purchased the car and said they needed to look into other options. Francesca spoke to the girlfriend every day for 10 days discussing other car options and essentially was ‘selling’ her other cars that she was never going to buy just to help keep the secret!! Francesca then set up a date for the male customer, girlfriend and all her family to come back in so she could test drive other models. Francesca also spent time giving recommendations for local places to eat at, as the customer was from Monaco and wanted somewhere nice to go before coming to the dealership. When they arrived, Francesca had decorated the handover bay with flowers and roses and had also purchased non-alcohol champagne and multiple bouquet of flowers, one for the girlfriend’s twin sister (so she didn’t feel left out!).

The girlfriend was completely taken aback by the surprise and cried with joy! Overall, everyone in the dealership and other customers that we have told the story said how lovely it was and we know that we have created an amazing memory for this couple.

Mr R, a great previous client was picking up his new car from Emily. Knowing that the client is always very well dressed when he comes to the showroom in a suit, shirt and tie, Emily sourced and ordered 2 new Silk Ties for the client and also had them monogrammed with his initials.
The client was over the moon and said it was touches like this that make him come back to Graypaul. Congratulations Emily for going the extra to make it special.

Ewan & Megan came together to create a memorable handover for one of our best clients.

They were in collecting their 2 of many cars they have (a collection of over 20 including Bugatti)

Ewan set the cars up in the showroom, blocked them off with ropes and poles creating a VIP section in the showroom.

Ewan had remembered from his interaction with the client, he is building a garage and calling it his Bakcave ( all his plates are BAK***) He found the client’s logo and put it on the big screen for his arrival.

The client came with many friends and family, and they were all blown away.

The family commented saying, they have collected many cars, but never experienced anything like this. The client reached out to Sid separately to thank the team for going above and beyond commenting the whole family will remember along with their social media followers as they streamed the whole thing.

Mr P was due to pick up his first New Ferrari, Emily had found out that it was the client’s birthday the day after the handover, but only the day before the client was due. She wanted to help celebrate his birthday, so got on the phone, arrange a custom cake for the client and drove to collect. On the day the client was blown away with the gesture of the cake and card signed by the team at Graypaul.

Our Sales Executive Neil Ross got a phone call from his customers Mr and Mrs McCann. They were at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen and asked Neil for the code for their new 911 which was in production. The Porsche employees at the factory were delighted to have customers they could show their very own Porsche in production. They stopped the production within the factory, the staff were clapping with excitement watching Mr and Mrs McCan walk over to their brand new 911.

Our Sales Executive Neil Ross has never heard of this happening in his full sixteen years working for the brand and is delighted his customers got a special and memorable experience. To continue this experience, on the handover Neil decided to play the couple’s favourite ACDC song through the BOSE speakers. This created an amazing, uplifting atmosphere within the showroom with other customers watching with excitement. Mr and Mrs McCann drove out of the handover bay to their favourite ACDC song, windows down and smiling in their new 911!

Mr and Mrs McCann commented…‘Having visited many Porsche Centres including Wurzburg, Porsche Centre Glasgow continues to exceed our exceptions and the variety of vehicles on display is fantastic. Neil has always gone above and beyond to accommodate our visits and indeed whilst we were at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen, Neil immediately took the call despite being busy as were required the production code for the 992 so we could see it during the factory tour.After having 2 Covid handovers with our Macan GTS and Cayenne, we were very excited about having the real experience for the 992. And WOW were we not overwhelmed by the whole day. From start to finish we were made feel that we were the single most important people in that building which is all anyone can every wish for when picking up their dream car. There was absolutely no rush and Neil made sure the day was very special. Ryan, head of valet ensured the car was pristine and thanks must go to him for his understanding of how pernickety we McCanns are!! To the point where Ryan checked with us that we were happy with the standard and was there anything we wanted him to do. Remarkable service.Porsche Glasgow gave us a day that we will remember forever and we are very thankful for everyone that was involved with that. Leaving Porsche Glasgow showroom with ACDC Thunderstuck blasting from the BOSE speakers certainly has everyone smiling!’

Mr Gill worked with us to pick his Taycan up today – his first car with us. He really wanted a 911 turbo but isn’t quite there yet so Alex helped him spec up his Taycan just like the 911 he would eventually want…

The customer has brought his family down to collect the car and loves it. Alex gave him a personalised handover gift – his favourite bottle of whiskey…. Not only this but he has had the bottle engraved with the customer’s name to commemorate the special day
Honestly, the customer welled up and I’m sure is a customer of Alex’s for life!!!

We recently had a call from a brand new customer to inform us he had broken down on the approach to the M6 Junction.

Realising he could potentially be stood on the hard shoulder awaiting collection, our Sales Exec Shazard Anwar set off immediately with a DB11 Volante demo car. He arrived as expected sometime before the recovery which was to the surprise of the customer who was swiftly on his way with little disruption.

What he hadn’t shared with us as he and his wife were travelling to a wedding so you can imagine how pleased he was with the service.

 

 

The customer commented that this action was above his expectation and was a consideration in taking the car back when his initial thoughts were rejection.

Alex recently sold a pre owned Lamborghini Urus to a local lady .

From the get go she was amazed by how attentive Alex was and just how special he made her feel which prompted her to send  the below note:-

Winner third place Arran Ashman

Our customer Mr Phillip French had been looking to change from his Jaguar to a Bentley for a while. He came into the business but the car he initially was looking at had been sold. Arran with much tenacity found a special car for Mr French and he went for it.

During the transaction, they had spoken about Burton On Trent and how Mr French likes the local ales. When the time came to collect the car, Arran chauffer drove him here in our Bentley Flying Spur which blew the chap’s socks off.

To conclude Arran arranged an engraved tankard and some local ales as a handover gift. The client was blown aware and very emotional…
Great job Arran.

Ben sold a professional footballer a car and knew he spoke very little English and that his native language was Portuguese. On the day of delivery, Ben decided to convert all of the welcome signs to Portuguese to make him feel welcome and special.
He also bought him a Birthday cake as the car was a gift to himself.

The customer was so delighted and was visibly very touched by this and he proceeded to take photographs of the signs and sent it to all of his relatives in the UK and Brazil

James going all out for the customer and agreeing to be the driver for the day for the customer’s daughter’s wedding in his own time. James went to the customer’s house very early that morning and stopped all day making sure the customer’s daughter was where she needed to be when she was supposed to be there, This was also a surprise for her and this was a massive factor in making the day so special as she also knew how big a deal this car was and getting her big day right and making it so special too for her dad.

The customer was over the moon and thrilled James did this for him and also he was able to relax enjoy the day and show his Daughter and his New MC20 off

Colin is new to the business, joining us in May this year he has taken to MIS very quickly and is going above and beyond to get to know our clients very well.

This particular Client, Ralston Forsman-White has bought 3 Levante’s from us in the last 16 months and is a great client of the dealership, When Colin started he was introduced to Ralston and they hit it off immediately building a very strong relationship, this led to the purchase of Levante number 3.

Whilst getting to know Ralston, Colin established that he was going to drive the Levante Abroad to Florentina.

With this information Colin then had a side shot of the Ralston’s new Levante sent over to someone who can print & frame them.

We had “Florentina” sign written underneath it and it truly looks the part and is the essence of Making It Special, this was very bespoke and unique.

Ralston is over the moon and is delighted with this, He has mentioned he cannot wait to move on up to a Grecale Trofeo.

Ralston left a 5/5 New Car CSI and is in love with his New Levante and has thanked us time and time again for the time & effort, He even went out of his way to bring his daughters in to visit our dealership. They live over in the Netherlands and Ralston get's very limited time with them, for him to take some time out of his day with them meant a lot to us.

James Humberstone

James had a customer call him with an issue that his battery was flat on one of his vehicles and was blocking all his garage and couldn’t get anything out and was in a bit of a panic as he had an urgent appointment he couldn’t miss.

So James jumped straight in his car in his own time with a starter pack and managed to get the car running so he could move it allowing the customer to get to his appointment on time.

Dear Nick,

I wanted to write to you to give you some feedback and to recognise some of your outstanding team at Graypaul Maserati Nottingham. My experience over the last two weeks has been the most impressive experience buying a car ever. I would like to particularly recognise Georgia Snowden who orchestrated the sales process. She was very ably supported by Emily who managed the test drive, Lee who managed and lead the team onsite and Gareth who managed the financial aspects. Everybody we met exuded pride in the dealership and created an excellent, efficient and friendly environment. Nothing was too much trouble.

I will tell the story in brief with bullet points to try to be as succinct as possible.

• Did initial research on the Maserati used car site and came across the Levante that had the colour combination and spec I was looking for after looking on and off for a while.

• My wife contacted Georgia to enquire about the panoramic roof to check if it was an opening roof. Georgia confirmed this and, unprompted sent a very nice video of the car with a focus on the roof and blind operation. No pushy follow-up, just the video and any questions contact me.

• Rang Georgia to set up a test drive which was done quickly and booked at my convenience.

• She asked in advance if we had a car to exchange as she wanted to make things easier administratively if so.

• We drove up from Reading to Nottingham and we were warmly welcomed by Lee and then met the reception staff and we were looked after with coffee by Emily at the reception desk. They created an excellent first impression and realised we had driven a good distance so they let us settle in and gave us time to enjoy coffee etc.

• Emily arrived and managed the insurance particulars and Lee advised that Georgia was on her day off but was coming in especially to meet us. That’s going the extra mile.

• The test drive was thorough and efficient with an excellent overview of the car’s features and I was able to drive on roads to get a good feel for the car.

• Back in the dealership we had another coffee and Lee completed the financial details with a fair price for my Range Rover Sport. Without being pushy he carefully explained the gap insurance and the value of GTechniq protection for the interior and exterior of the car.

• We concluded the deal and Georgia was on hand with all the paperwork to make it a smooth and seamless transaction.

• Date for the collection was agreed and four days later I arrived at the dealership for collection.

• Final paperwork was signed quickly. My Range Rover details were confirmed and then to the Reveal.

• I had a 45-minute business call I had to take so I was given a lovely private meeting room and coffee.

• I have never either buying a new or used car had a reveal where the car was fully draped and a plinth saying reserved for collection Mr and Mrs Colehan.

• The car looked stunning and the prep had been outstanding. Georgia gave me a full run through all the controls and set up my phone connection to the car and we ran through all the key settings. Ready for off.

• If that was not enough Georgia presented me with a Jo Malone gift for my wife and a Maserati mug for me.

• Journey home was fabulous and a call from Georgia 24 hours after to check all was ok was the final part of outstanding service

• Life is great with my new pride and joy, the Levante.

I wanted to write in detail and you might say… “that’s the service we give all our customers at Maserati”

For my wife and I, it was truly a unique experience so much more personal than at BMW, Mercedes Jaguar and LandRover where service is efficient and courteous but transactional. The team in Nottingham made us both feel very special, helped us buy into the Maserati brand and cultivated a special customer relationship.

I do hope that you will recognise the team for the outstanding work that they do. This was the best experience I have had buying cars over the last 35 years anywhere.

Hi Andy,

Just wanted to let you know I had a gentleman come in the week before last looking for a Salesman called Paul.

After a bit of investigative work after the gentleman had gone, I found out it was Paul Lewis.

The gentleman said it was 6:30 pm one evening, very dark and his motorbike would not start in the car park.

Paul had just locked up the Dealership and saw the chap in the car and asked if he needed any help.

Paul reopened the Dealership to get the equipment he needed to help the gentleman get his motorbike started.

The gentleman was very very appreciative of the time and effort Paul made to make sure he wasn’t stuck for what could have been hours in the car park.

Unfortunately, Paul was tied up so was unable to see the gentleman who had bought Paul in some beer.

The gentleman said he was a great fan of the Porsche brand and what Paul did for him would stick in his mind and should he ever wish to purchase a Porsche he would come back here to see Paul.

Anna arranged individual cupcakes for a customers 6oth birthday that coincided with him collecting his brand new Porsche. She also arranged flowers, balloons and a special greeting message for when the customer arrived at the Centre. He and his family were absolutely blown away.

Nigel had a good client Mrs G who brought her 458 in for the first service since she took ownership last year. Whilst talking to her and her young daughter over a coffee, Nigel found out that it was her husbands birthday. He quickly got a Ferrari Coffee table book that he had wrapped up and before the car went back he put it in the passenger seat along with some Ferrari Lithographs and a poster for her daughter. Mrs G was delighted and sent a lovely email in to say thank you:

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you for the book and picture packs you left in the car for us. My daughter was very pleased with them. I have put the book aside for Rob’s birthday – he will love it. Emily wanted to make the purchase of a client’s first Ferrari extra special on handover.
The client had been in several times and was born and bred from Rotherham. Whilst chatting to the client, the conversation got on to famous people from Rotherham, and the Chuckle Brothers came up. Prior to handover, Emily had ordered the client a personal video message from Paul Chuckle congratulating him on the purchase of his first Ferrari. The reaction of the client was fantastic, saying that no one had ever done anything like this for a car before and was blown away.

Congratulations to Emily for thinking outside the box of the “usual” handover gift.
